The Indian Health Service (IHS) has determined a need to provide for the procurement and installation of this project which consists of furnishing all labor, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, and performing all operations for installing a new water treatment system for an existing homesite. The water quality of the existing home has tested positive for E. coli and is unsafe to drink. This project is needed in order to provide safe drinking water to the home on non-Fee land located in Douglas County for a Cow Creek Tribal member. The project work shall include replacing the water pressure system for an existing well, installing a new water treatment system, and installing a water service line from the treatment system to the home. Work shall be performed according to the site drawing, technical specifications, and Oregon Water Resource Department (OWRD) standards, rules and regulations. Upon completion of the project the contractor shall provide homeowner operation and maintenance training and materials for the installed facilities.
