In this information request, the USSF is researching industry's ability to support various satellite communication (SATCOM) dependent missions by rapidly producing a variety of different Radio Frequency (RF) subsystems that operate over a wide range of frequency bands. The RF subsystem consists of the following: RF antenna, RF conditioning and isolation, high power amplification, control and monitoring, and RF distribution subsystem. One antenna is not expected to cover all frequency ranges. The RF antennas shall be able to support SATCOM to all orbital regimes (e.g., Low Earth Orbit [LEO], Highly Elliptical Orbit [HEO], and Geosynchronous Earth Orbits [GEO]). Delivery speed, cost, and modularity are the driving factors.
