(U) This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). This RFI is issued to identify industry partners to replace the current Hawaii Air Route Surveillance Radar version 4 (ARSR-4). The program requires delivery of a single radar replacement system to be delivered/installed in Fiscal Year (FY) 25/26 with Full Operational Capability (FOC) to occur in FY27.
(U) The Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) Digital Directorate, Aerospace Management Systems Division (HBA), Global Air Traffic Systems (GATS) Branch (HBAG) in partnership with the Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), henceforth referred to as the Government Team, intends to stand up a cross-agency program titled Air Route Surveillance Radar v4 Replacement - Hawaii (ARSR4R-HI). The ARSR4R-HI Program will acquire a new detection, discrimination, and tracking system for a single site for a DoD Mission and shared Federal use. The DoD will serve as the ARSR4R-HI program acquisition agency.
(U) This Sources Sought RFI is the initial step to engage industry and foster a collaborative relationship between the Government Team and vendors to share perspectives on future ARSR4R-HI acquisition.
