GCVHCS requires a new wireless temperature / humidity monitoring system to support the monitoring and reporting needs of SPS equipment per Directive 1116(2) dated 2016-03-23 in support of the Biloxi VAMC, JACC, Panama City, and Elgin CBOC’s. The effort is addressing multiple monitoring and reporting deficiencies and increasing the capability in up to the moment alert notifying and reporting. The SPS designated areas will require this wireless temperature/humidity monitoring system to provide VHA Directive 1116(2) and Joint Commission compliance in medical supply storage rooms, sterile areas, and Lab devices. Both Biomedical Engineering and local OIT administrator specify our current healthcare system’s existing temperature monitoring server system, VersaTrak, or an already approved compatible system equal.
