Z1DA– Bldg 222 Roof and Sheetrock Repair – White City VAMC, OR
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:
- Title: Bldg 222 Roof and Sheetrock Repair
- Tasks: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials, labor, tools and equipment, and travel as necessary to provide the following:
- Roofing: Remove and dispose of existing roof including shingles, felt underlayment, pipe flashings, vents, 25% of area sheeting, 10% sistering damaged rafters, etc. in the area that is affected (B222 NW), approximately 2600sqf, including area that will be torn off to continue the stagger. In order to complete roof repair.
- Provide and install:
- IKO Performance, Emerald Green Asphalt Shingles.
- Synthetic Underlayment.
- Universal Starter Strip and Drip Edge Metal on all eaves and gable ends.
- Ridge Cap to match existing.
- 25% Sheeting.
- 10% Rafter Sistering.
- Sheet Rock: Remove and dispose of existing drywall in the stairway of B222 where the drywall is damaged.
- Provide and install:
- New 5/8 Sheetrock including hanging, tape, and texture to match existing.
- Scaffolding as needed.
- Location: White City VAMC, 8495 Crater Lake Hwy, White City, OR 97503
- NAICS Anticipated: 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, $45M
- Type of Contract Anticipated: FFP
- Period of Performance Anticipated: TBD
- Magnitude Anticipated: Less than $25,000.
- Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
