Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) Supply Department has a requirement for 200 portable Air Conditioning units
to support BEQ barracks in MCBH Hawaii while central air conditioning are down. The portable Air Conditioning
units shall meet all of the following minimum salient characteristics:
Minimum Requirements:
. Portable and light weight
. Minimum Coverage Area: 100-150 sq. ft.
. Maximum Size: 30” (Height) x 16” (Width) x 17” (Depth)
. Minimum Cooling Capacity: 8,000-10,000 BTU
. Maximum Sound Level: 70dBA
. Maximum ampere: 10 A
. Minimum Ambient Operating Range: 60 to 95 Degree Fahrenheit
. Cooling Only
. Shall support multi-level building, indoor usage
. Shall not require professional installation
. Shall not be window units
. Shall not become a fixture of the building
