The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to place slope protection (Class III Rip Rap) rock on both upstream and downstream slopes and underneath each side of the Littcarr Campground bridge located at Carr Creek Lake, Sassafras, Kentucky. Prices should include mobilization & demobilization, fuel, labor, material, and equipment. The contractor will not start work until after Winter Drawn Down, 1 December, elevation 1,017 above mean sea level (AMSL). The contractor’s work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
LINE ITEM 0001: Littcarr Campground Bridge Abutment.
Westside Bridge Abutment:
1) The contractor will place Class III Channel Liner stone from the north edge of the bridge approximately
sixty five feet (65’) upstream and approximately fifteen feet (15’) from Elevation 1,017 above mean sea
level (AMSL) up the embankment to Elevation 1,028.5 AMSL. Total depth of the Class III channel Liner
will be at a minimum of twenty four inches (24”).
2) The contractor will place Class III Channel Liner stone from the south edge of the bridge approximately
seventy feet (70’) downstream and approximately fifteen feet (15’) from Elevation 1,017 above mean sea
level (AMSL) up the embankment to Elevation 1,028.5 AMSL. Total depth of the Class III channel Liner
will be at a minimum of twenty four inches (24”).
3) The contractor will place Class III Channel Liner stone underneath the bridge from elevation 1,017 AMSL
to bridge abutment. Total depth of the Class III channel Liner will be at a minimum of twenty four inches
(24”) where applicable.

will be at a minimum of twenty four inches (24”).

forty feet (40’) downstream and approximately fifteen feet (15’) from Elevation 1,017 above mean sea
level (AMSL) up the embankment to Elevation 1,028.5 AMSL. Total depth of the Class III channel Liner
will be at a minimum of twenty four inches (24”).
3) The contractor will place Class III Channel Liner stone underneath the bridge from elevation 1,017 AMSL
to bridge abutment. Total depth of the Class III channel Liner will be at a minimum of twenty four inches
(24”) where applicable.
