2023 Whitetail Road 224 Construction Bessey Ranger District
Constructing a Roadway Embankment with Turnouts and Lead-off Ditches
Work for this project consists of constructing a roadway embankment with turnouts and lead- off ditches; installing specified geotextile materials on approved constructed roadway; furnishing, placing and compacting the aggregate mudrock material base course on the geotextile; seeding and installing specified erosion control material; and a final shaping of the roadway as specified. Work will be performed on a designated 1.0 mile of Whitetail Road #224 per Base Item, with Optional Items of similar work on up to an additional mile of Whitetail Road #224 . Roadway will be constructed to a fourteen (14) foot wide roadway surface as Shown on the Drawings. Blade the placed mudrock to provide a smooth running surface with a centerline crown. Reference (FP-14) Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges as shown in the Specifications and Drawings.
Work to be completed shall be as shown in the Schedule of Items
