I. Nature of the action.
The 314th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron needs a RoboCrib AutoVend System for its C130-J bench stock management. The system shall be automated and meet the AFI bench stock allowable rule, no stock level below 50% or above 200%. The system shall include AutoVend 1000 (Part Number 112.888-SR), dispensing crib with touchscreen, PC and AutoCrib software license with management station, 75 automated modular locker doors, custom reports, parts cups, and a 5-year DoD warranty. The vendor shall Set-up and Install the system and provide the required training. The vendor shall furnish all labor, tools, material, and freight to the 314th AMXS, Little Rock AFB.
II. Description of services
The AutoVend solution shall increase the efficiency and reliability of the 314th AMXS current bench stock program. The system shall decrease downtime spent on fulfillment demands and turnarounds for maintenance, reduce human errors, keeps real-time bench stock inventory, and mitigate cross-contamination commingling with controlled access and accountability. The system shall provide a feature to adjust and update the stock level information.
III. Demonstration of the Vender's unique qualifications
The current requirement for the bench stock management system is only satisfied by the AutoCrib brand due to its unique operability to meet the 314th bench stock needs. The AutoCrib software is currently in use at other USAF installations. The system can compile data and usage rates on demand, automatically generates a reordering list when stock becomes 50%, and prevent overstock by rejecting stocking above 200%. This software brand also allows the program manager to monitor status and transactions for higher accountability remotely. Acquiring this system is vital for properly maintaining stock levels and ensuring supplies are readily available. This bench stock system affects daily maintenance actions supporting our aircraft maintenance operations.
