This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announceement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being rquested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238210, and the business size standard is $19.0M. This will be awarded as a best value/trade-off. This combined solicitation/synopsis is for non-personal fire alarm system replacement services for the National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Juneau, Alaska in accordance with the incorporated Sstatement of Work. Additionally, please see Department of Labor Wage Rates: WD 2015-5685 Rev 19, dated 12/27/2022, which can be found on https://wdolhome.sam.gov/. Please note that there will be NO formal site visit being offered due to the location. However, the atttached Fire Detection Plan document should provide the needed details, as well as support documents to the SOW that provide details about the building design.
