Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project involves renovations to the existing 48,300 s.f. school. Renovations include removal of the exist- ing suspended ceilings, installation of a new fire suppression system in approximately half the building, and new suspended ceiling system and new light fixtures throughout most of the building. MEP renova- tions include replacement of domestic water mains and branch piping, replacement of two above ceiling mounted mechanical units and one ceiling hung fan coil unit including extending ductwork to serve two adjacent toilet rooms. Replacement of branch piping will require partial demolition and patching of walls and furring of walls to conceal piping. The toilet room in the Nurse Suite as well as corridor water coolers will be modified to meet ADA accessibility requirements. ADA modifications will also include renovations to the existing stage to incorporate a wheelchair lift.
