TNF Fire Alarm Inspection and Remote Monitoring Services
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 1240BF23Q0032 and is issue as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to establish a Firm Fixed Price service contract to provide inspection and remote monitoring services to fire alarm systems located at multiple Tongass National Forest (TNF) facilities.
The combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04, effective 2 June 2023.
This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (which applies to this combined synopsis/solicitation), offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths). The NAICS Code was identified through a review of the U.S. Census Bureau’s website where Fire Alarm Monitoring Services was listed as a corresponding index category. The small business size standard is $25 million.

Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide fire alarm inspection and remote monitoring services as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Place of Performance: The work shall be performed at multiple TNF facilities located throughout Southeast Alaska: Craig, Hoonah, Juneau, Ketchikan, Petersburg, Sitka, Thorne Bay, and Wrangell.
Period of Performance (POP): The POP shall be for 1 Base Period of 7-months and 4 Option Periods of 12-months each.
Amendment 0001: Solicitation amended on 18 JUL 2023 to modify Attachment 1, add Attachments 5, 6 and 7, and extend the submission of offers date.
Amendment 0002: Solicitation amended on 19 JUL 2023 to modify Attachment 5 and add Attachment 8.
Amendment 0003: Solicitation amended on 26 JUL 2023 to answer additional questions to the solicitation and extend the submission of offers date. Refer to Attachment 7.
