The USDA-Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station, is seeking quotations for the Missoual Fire Lab Pump House 7 Disposal Project.
Description of Work: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform all work listed. Work includes the removal of asbestos from Pumphouse #7 located within the Missoula Fire Lab, with optional building demolition. The pumphouse is a 224 sq. foot building on a concrete foundation with sheet metal exterior walls and a sheet metal roof over a concrete structure with metal framing.
Location: Pumphouse #7 is located within the Missoula Fire Lab. It currently houses the miscellaneous groundskeeping equipment. It was constructed in 1960 and was decommissioned due to connection of the facility to public water supply, thus rendering the well pump unnecessary. (MISSOULA COUNTY, MT)
Work is estimated to begin August/September 2023, or as soon as awarded.
The estimated magnitude of construction is under $25,000.
