THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY: This announcement is provided as a Sources Sought Notice (36C25623Q1349). No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract shall be awarded from this announcement.
The purpose of this synopsis is to notify potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), in accordance with Public Law 109-461, the requirements of this projected forthcoming requirement.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) has a requirement at John L. McClellan (JLM) Veterans Hospital located at 4300 W. Seventh St., Little Rock, AR 72205-5484. The forthcoming solicitation will require a contractor to meet the project objectives and requirements and to provide the required outcome in terms of overall quality, timeliness, and documentation. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and coordinating the services of all third-party contractors performing other services on-site and other entities as part of the contract to ensure the expected quality, timely, and desired product follows. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and expertise necessary to perform general services and alterations, necessary to fully complete the project as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW), Drawings, and Specifications. This is an active medical facility that will require the contractor in concert with a VA representative to mitigate the construction impact on veterans, patients, and medical employees during the construction process.
The contractor shall comply with all State of Arkansas, federal, and local requirements including but not limited to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). All workmanship shall comply with all applicable codes, specifications, and local ordinances, and be in general accordance with industry standards.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 238320 - Painting and Wall Covering Contractors, and the size standard is $16.5 Million.
