Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value)
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific, NOAA Ship Rainier requires annual inspection and recertification of their firefighting equipment, onboard suppression system, and small boat systems.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-01464 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04.
(iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services; the small business size standard is $19.5M.
(v) Line items are as follows:
CLIN 1: 1.5.1. Perform annual inspection and testing, including certification of the fire equipment. Identified in Task 1.5.1.
CLIN 2: Estimated Line Item for Replacement of Expired / Damaged Equipment I/A/W Task 1.5.1. (Conditions Found Report Required, To Be Invoiced at Actual.)
(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the services as described in the attached statement of work.
(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.
