The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, TX is requesting capability statements from contractors that provide Dermatology services at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHCS), John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital, 4300, West 7th Street, Little Rock AR, 72205. The VA intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) for this requirement on or about August 2023. The solicitation will be available for download from https://www.sam.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, no hard copies will be made available. The RFQ will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective offeros must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and certified in the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification Program (VetCert) as VetCert certification is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses under the applicable NAICS. To be eligible for a subsequent award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. The government intends to use a best value comparative evaluation source selection method under Part 8 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and anticipates making a single award fixed price type contract for this requirement.
