Dry Ryan Mastication, 351 acres
Amendment 0002 is issued to answer questions received:
Question 1:
- Will you make a first payout after 1/3 of the project is done? This further can get you the right companies as many cannot wait until the first 1/3 of a mastication or ROW is signed off on.
- Re payment? How will you disburse payments? Will it be on acres I call on for inspection? Or pay out upon completion of each individual unit?
- In respect to payment, seeing as it can be 2 months to complete, should we expect payment by acres or at job completion?
Answer 1:
Per the SOW: "7.1 Work will be accepted or rejected on a unit basis." The Dry Ryan treatment has 5 separate polygons (or units). The BLM will accept up to five requests for payments, which will each be payed upon inspection and approval by the BLM Project Inspector and / or the BLM Contracting Officer Representative according to the cost per acre that was submitted in the contractor's bid. Most contractors don't submit more than two requests for payment for most projects in NW Colorado, simply because they are able to finish in a relatively short time frame.
Question 2: Is a bid bond needed?
Answer 2: No
