Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SPB is seeking the services of a highly qualified architect/engineering firm to design the renovation of the IMAX Lobby and back of house concessions, inventory storage, office and common room areas. The team Architect must be a Professional Architect licensed by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and in compliance with the Rules and Regulations for Licensing as set forth by this State of Texas professional registration entity. The team Engineer must be a Professional Engineer licensed by the Texas Board of the Professional Engineers and in compliance with the Rules and Regulations for Licensing as set forth by this State of Texas professional registration entity. The project scope includes programming, code‐compliant design and layout for remodel, including all finishes, fixtures, concessions case work, countertops, lighting, power, plumbing, HVAC, data and security runs. Back‐of‐House construction area work must begin in July 2016. The public lobby spaces will be closed to the public during the months of August‐September 2016 for demolition, construction, and finishing. Dates for construction of public areas are non‐negotiable, so this scope of work should be completed by May 27, 2016 so construction package can issued for bid. 1. Survey of Existing Conditions 2.
