Specifications include, but are not limited to:Specifications: Collaborates with school personnel, such as teachers, psychologists, and other related service personnel to meet the needs of all students Provides classroom interventions as part of Response to Intervention (RTI) Conducts physical therapy screenings using appropriate screening instruments Administers formal and informal physical therapy assessments based on individual student needs Observes students in the educational environment Analyzes and interprets information to make recommendations regarding the need for physical therapy services Prepares evaluation summary and reports in a timely fashion Develops Present Level of Educational Performance (PLEPS), Goals and Benchmarks for Individualized Educational Programs (IEP) within the IEP Plus program Reports progress toward goals in IEP Plus Serves as member of the IEP team Communicates effectively to school personnel and parents Provides physical therapy based activities commensurate with students’ abilities, interests and aptitudes Selects and implements evidence-based practices which support the goals and benchmarks
