This is a Sources Sought announcement to laboratory temperature monitoring system, seeking responses in order to identify interested parties for potential participation in the acquisition. This Sources Sought will be set aside 100% for small business. The Commodities Flight of the 673d Contracting Squadron plans to establish a firm-fixed price contract. The vendor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, materials and related items necessary to de-install current laboratory temperature monitoring system and acquire/install the new laboratory temperature monitoring system for the 673d Medical Support Squadron located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. See the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO) DRAFT for details.
The designated NAICS code is 339112 - Medical thermometers manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employes.
Responses shall reference this Sources Sought announcement as "Laboratory Temperature Monitoring System", and shall include the following information:
• Business Name
• CAGE Code
• Point of contact name, email address, and telephone and fax numbers
• Business size and any/all socio-economic category(ies) for the identified NAICS code, including Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Women-Owned Small Business, and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business
• Percentage of the work your company is able to perform for these services in the identified socio-economic categories. Would your company team with another small business in order to meet the applicable subcontracting limitations of your socio-economic category(ies)? The subcontracting limitations are outlined in FAR 52.219-3, 52.219-14, 52.219-27, 52.219-29, and/or 52.219-30, as appropriate.
