The Nebraska National Forest is anticipating the Purchase of 12,500 Cubic Feet (estimate: 5 loads @ 2,500 cubic feet per load) of Cottonwood Sawdust for the Bessey Nursery, to be delivered in Bulk, for the purpose of using the sawdust on our bareroot seed beds to insulate the seed for the winter. The sawdust must be free of debris and not contain any wood chips larger than ¼” X ½”. It must also be free of Black Walnut and Juniper. Preference is Cottonwood sawdust but Pine sawdust would be acceptable.
This Synopsis is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the above listed product. The Solicitation will be posted with the description and minimum specifications included within the next 1-4 days. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 321113 and this solicitation is total set-aside for small business. The Solicitation number will be 1240LP23Q0067 and will be posted in SAM.gov. Note the Evaluating Factors listed in Section E of the Solicitation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, permits, and shipping necessary to fulfill this order.
