Specifications include, but are not limited to:In general, the project consists of a two story classroom addition to Tyrrell Elementary School of approximately 34,600 Square Feet and miscellaneous renovations to the exisiting building. Building construction consists of but is not limited to: demolition, dirtwork, utility work, portland cement paving, concrete curbs, concrete walks, drilled piers, concrete slabs, structural steel, steel joists, metal deck, prefinished metal roofing, steel studs and drywall, masonry, cast stone, aluminum, steel and plastic laminate covered doors, aluminum windows, canopies, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE WINDSTORM CERITIFICATION This project is located in the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Inland 1 Coastal Wind Zone. All building materials and installation procedures shall conform to the IBC2012 with TDI Texas revisions. Port Arthur ISD shall be responsible for the cost of Windstorm inspections and certification. The General Contractor will be responsible for submitting TDI forms WPI-1 and WPI-2 so that windstorm insurance can be obtained by the Owner
