The general scope of work pertaining to this contract consists of performing annual road, campground road and trailhead maintenance on the Grand River Ranger District of the Dakota Prairie Grasslands. This work is being solicited as a “performance- based” service contract. The term “performance-based” indicates the Contractor is responsible for achieving an end product. Furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract.
Project Description and Location
The work consists of annual road, campground road and trailhead maintenance specified in Task Orders. Road maintenance work to be performed will be on National Forest System Roads and Trailheads within the:
Grand River Ranger District in Perkins and Corson Counties, SD and Sioux County, ND
All work and equipment shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of this contract. All equipment shall be in good operating condition, meet all safety standards and shall be operated by competent operators experienced in the work.
