PROJECT: Barkley Switchyard Disconnects
PURPOSE: The purpose of this amendment is to:
1) Provide Government answers to contractor questions.
2) Extend quote due date from 16-May-2023 at 1:00 PM CT to 23-May-2023 at 1:00 PM CT.
3) Attach revised Specifications "W9120523R0005_TSPECS_BAR SWITCHYARD DISCONNECTS_Amendment 0001_16MAY23.pdf"
4) FAR 52.252-3, Alterations in Solicitation, has been included and updated.
SOLICITATION DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall be required to provide new switches and operators for all motor and manually operated air-insulated, three phase, group-operated disconnect switches in the switchyard. The new equipment will be installed in the switchyard by others, i.e. plant personal. Options for new mounting brackets, stainless steel mounting hardware, and new auxiliary switches will be included in the contract to make the installation less difficult for plant personal. The decision of exercising the Options will be based on the amount of funding available.
This solicitation will result in a single firm fixed-price supply contract.
