The Bureau of Reclamation has had a contract in place for many years for pumping of vault toilets and septic tanks at Clark Canyon Reservoir and Barretts Diversion Dam, located in Beaverhead County, Montana. Work includes, but is not limited to, 1) removal of all waste, including trash, from 23 vault toilet units, which consist of 31 individual vaults, and 2 septic tanks located at 13 separate sites within the Clark Canyon and Barretts Diversion areas managed by the Bureau of Reclamation and, 2) transportation and disposal of waste materials at an approved facility in compliance with State Sanitation Regulations
Clark Canyon Recreation Area is located approximately 18 miles south of Dillon, Montana. Barretts Diversion Dam is located approximately 7 miles south of Dillon, Montana. Each area is accessible by gravel or paved road. A map of the Clark Canyon Recreation Area is located in Appendix A.
