All Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) and Launch Facilities (LFs) have an Impressed Current
Cathodic Protection (ICCP) System installed and operational. Several of these sites have
exceeded their useful lifespans and are now in excess of 30+ years old, diminishing rapidly.
The goal of this project is to install a new ICCP System, by way of a deep well anode bed, to
provide renewed cathodic protection to the MAFs and LFs for the foreseeable future.
Provide all transportation, labor, material, and equipment to accomplish the installation
of a cathodic protection deep well anode bed system at both MAFs and LFs. Provide all
equipment necessary for parts and repairs to the Government as
executed on a yearly basis (in terms of quantity in the form of CLIN Options) as material
only. The number of CLINS awarded in any given year is variable and is dependent on
funding allocated for the specific fiscal year.
