Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The contractor will be required to apply chemicals within a specific time period throughout the growing season to coincide with the target weed for best possible control or eradication. b. The contractor will be provided with specific work orders, acreages, rates of application, chemical type, and specific maps to aid the contractor in completion of assigned tasks. c. Spray equipment required for this contract shall be a boom sprayer which is preferred for chemical fallowing or continuous spray work orders. A two hundred (200) gallon minimum tank size is required. d. Approximately eighty percent (80%) of chemical application will occur in Sheridan and Wells Counties. e. Treatment of areas will not be done during periods when the wind is blowing over 15MPH, or when thunderstorms or rainy weather is eminent. f. The contractor shall complete spray records daily for all spray applications as required in N.D.A.C 60-03- 01-07. g. The contract shall apply pesticides according to label instructions and shall triple rinse, puncture, and dispose of pesticide containers in a legal manner.
