Notice of Intent to Sole Source.
This contract is a follow on to production contract M67854-15-D-6001. Statement of Work (SOW) specifies tasks the Contractor shall perform to complete Rework for the Common Laser Rangefinder Integrated Capability (CLRF IC) handhelds in order to complete Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) #01139 (referred to as Retrofit) as well as a onetime purchase of 500 CLRF-IC AA Battery Cartridges.
Rework shall consist of the maintenance actions required to be performed above the field level prior to induction to the retrofit process. Retrofit shall consist of implementing the engineering changes to update the Auto-Calibrated Digital Magnetic Compass, 100% Duty-Cycle Short-wave Infrared (SWIR), and Image/Video Output. The one-time purchase off 500 AA Battery Cartridges will be used to replenish damaged and missing cartridges that were previously fielded.
The Contractor shall complete such Retrofit and Rework to restore the CLRF IC handhelds to the baseline prescribed per ECP #01139 unless otherwise directed by the Government COR or PCO.
The Government does not have data rights to all required work and cannot provide complete specifications.
