This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis to request information for market research and planning purposes. This announcement is not a solicitation and does not constitute a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to identify and collect information on potential sources of supply for the bridge crane hoist VFD and DBU replacement and load testing as described herein. Responses to this announcement will be used by the Government in planning and making acquisition decisions.
This announcement also serves as a notice of the Government's intent is to issue a solicitation for the supplies described herein using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code to be used for this requirement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $12,500,000.00. The Government is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of both small and large businesses.
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking firms with the qualifications and capability to provide the services in the attached Statement of Work.
If your company is interested and can demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the services in the SOW, we encourage you to respond to this announcement with a statement of your qualifications and capability. In response, please provide:
1. Company information including name, Unique Entity Identification (UEI), address, points of contact with telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
2. Business size/classification to include any designations as Large Business, Small Business, HUBZone, Woman owned, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Indian-owned, 8(a), etc.
3. Description of your company's capability to provide the services in the SOW.
4. Description of experience on contracts with similar requirements, describing no more than three (3) contracts completed within the past 5 years of the issue date of this announcement. Please include project title, location, general description of the supplies and services to demonstrate relevance to the proposed project, your company's role, dollar value of contract, and name of the company, agency or government entity for which the work was performed. If submitting past performance/experience on a project in the role of a subcontractor, include the Prime Contractor's name and a quantifiable amount (percentage) of the project your company contributed to the overall scope of work.
5. Please provide general information on the products your company would offer to fulfill this requirement including manufacturer; place of manufacture; standard warranty period; specifications, if any, that deviate from those specified; product support; and any other pertinent information.
