SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source (AIRFASCO, INC. CAGE CODE: 3Z958), under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This is being solicited on a sole source basis because DUE TO THE URGENCY OF THE REQUIREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
Award will be based on the delivery schedule and price.
ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for:
Total Quantity must be received by NSWC Crane on or before 4/20/2023.

Quantity: 224 each
CLIN 0002- Aircraft Bolt
P/N: AN7C23A
Quantity: 224 each
CLIN 0003- Aircraft Bolt
P/N: AN7C24A
Quantity: 224 each
CLIN 0001, 0002 and 0003 = a total quantity of #672 Aircraft Bolts.
All Aircraft Bolts in CLIN 0001, 0002 and 0003 will meet the following requirements:
Total QTY needed 672
Must be made in conformance with NASM3-20, AN7C Series
Bolt thread is 7/16-20 UNF-3A
Must have a bolt length between 2 1/4” and 2 9/16”
Must be partially threaded with length between 1.500” and 1.600” not threaded down from the shoulder of the bolt.
Material of Stainless Steel Grade 431.
Finished with Passivation per AMS2700
Cannot be drilled in either the head or the shank of the bolt

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13 as a written. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-FY23-Q-0123 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.
All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor https://sam.gov/ for any amendments, which may be issued to this solicitation.
For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
