This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the acquisition of off-base housing arrangement lease for one (1) base year with nine (9) option years to accommodate a minimum of forty (40) tenants. The housing must be within 25 miles of Cannon AFB. All utilities (e.g. water, electrical, gas, sewage) must be included in the proposal. All proposals must be in accordance with the highlighted section in Attachment 1 – AFI 32-6000. The minimum required standards are as follows: “Private unit with a combined living/sleeping area, shared bathroom (with not more than one other person), with 90 square feet net living area, a kitchen area to include: a refrigerator, two-burner cooktop, microwave, food storage, and sink large enough to wash dishes. Offerors may submit separate proposals. If multiple proposals are submitted, one proposal shall reflect the pricing for a minimum of forty (40) units furnished. The second proposal shall reflect the pricing for a minimum of (40) units unfurnished. “Furnished” is defined as containing essential furniture to include a minimum of a twin bed, nightstand, chest, dresser, drapery, desk, and chair. The government intends to scale this leasing arrangement up to 200 bed spaces. The bed spaces must be ready for tenant occupancy by 1 May 2023.
