Background:
Summary: CTR will inspect current state of Alex Haley’s Fan and provide Condition Found Report and proposal for rewind.
Statement of Work:
Inspection/ repair should include:
- Remove the motor from the fan assembley
- Disassemble and inspect all parts
- Full electrical and mechanical inspection
- Removal of old coils
- Manufacture of new coils
- Rewind
- Dip and bake stator twice
- Clean and primer paint parts
- Sand blast axial fan parts and housing as needed
- Replace bearings
- Reassemble motor, test, and paint motor
- Reassemble motor into Axial fan
- Epoxy spray and paint axial fan assembly.
- Palletize for shipping
