Solicitaion 12445123B0003, Shady Lake Recreation Pavilion Project, shall be extended to 3/17/23; with bids due NLT 17:00pm EST. Due to the Government's IGCE, no bid bond will be required with bid pricing. If your firm has already submitted a bid for this project and decide to make a change before end date/time, please address any new submission as "UPDATED BID". End of amendment 0001.
Scope of Work: Shady Lake Recreation Area (Athens, AR). The Contractor shall reference the Schedule of Items, Specifications and Drawings for a complete description of work items. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items:
▪ Replace damaged upper and lower guardrails
▪ Replace damaged balusters
▪ Replace damaged support post
▪ Replace damaged rafters
▪ Replace damaged roof joist
▪ Replace damaged roof decking
▪ Replace all roofing shingles of pavilion
▪ Paint all new and existing wooden surfaces
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials for renovation. Project Name and Location: Shady Lake A-Loop Pavilion Renovations Located in Shady Lake Recreation Area, of Mena Ranger District in Ouachita National Forest (Athens, AR).

Type of Contract: This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) which will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive/responsible bidder.
Set Aside: The project is set-aside 100% for small businesses per FAR 19.5. The associated NAICS of this acquisition is 238130 Framing Contractors (size standard $16.5m). PSC Code Z2FB -REPAIR OR ALTERATION OF RECREATIONAL BUILDINGS.
Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is: Below $25,000.00 Solicitation and Documents: The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://beta.sam.gov on or about 02-13-2023. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out.
All RFI's regarding this solicitation shall be emailed to the Contract Specialist adam.doyle@usda.gov. Once received by the noted due date, the government shall respond within 5 business days.
