Radio Frequency (RF) Recorder (Quantity 1)
Requirement: Purchase one (1) Radio Frequency Recorder with playback capability to enhance analysis and troubleshooting of the complete RF path between the antennas and radio/data equipment at the NOAA Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) in accordance with the technical specifications in the attached RFQ.
General Information and Instructions to Offeror
The Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) is a 24-7 satellite tracking station operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in support of NOAA environmental monitoring spacecraft. As part of its operations, FCDAS utilizes antenna systems capable of automatically tracking radio signals transmitted from these spacecraft.
An integral component of the antenna systems is the RF recorder/playback device. These antenna systems are part of the nation’s Critical Infrastructure support system.
This is a requirement to purchase an RF Recorder with playback capability to enhance analysis and troubleshooting of the complete RF path between the antennas and radio/data equipment at FCDAS. This procurement will utilize North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 334220 – Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communication Equipment Manufacturing.
This acquisition is a Full and Open competition.
