The USDA Forest Service (FS), East Zone, has an anticipated requirement to provide materials, labor, equipment, and expertise to complete the removal and replacement of existing toilet and shower buildings with engineered pre-cast concrete buildings. Items of work include but are not limited to:
- Removal and disposal of designated trees
- Structural demolition/disposal, including asbestos wall board removal and utility disconnection
- Performing excavation, soil compaction, and other site preparation activities
- Providing, placing, and compacting aggregate for base and finish grade material
- Furnishing and installing new concrete shower and toilet buildings, including reconnection of existing utilities to the new facilities
- Forming, pouring, and finishing ADA-compliant concrete walkways
- Removal and replacement of compromised lift station basin including removing and resetting of existing pumps and rails in the new unit
- Final grading of sites; seeding and mulching; and other associated activities.
This project is located at Lake Sherwood Campground, within the Lake Sherwood Recreation Area in the Monongahela National Forest. The project site is approximately 12 miles Northeast of Neola, WV.

This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220—Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5M.
Construction Magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
