SOURCE SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF A SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIN IN FY24 CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – FTG251, Maintenance Support Facility, Fort Greely, Alaska – AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on Fort Greely, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements – Application for brand name descriptions”.
Items:
- Cisco IE-3000 Series Network Switch. The Complex Site Control and Monitoring System (SCMS) NETWORK Switch is a Cisco ME-3600X-24FS-M/IE-3000-8TC and all individual building components are required to communicate and integrate with the SCMS & PCMS head ends.
- Alerton model #VLX-Platinum DDC Controllers in the SCMS system. All buildings on the complex are required to be connected to the head end control system. Multiple components such as leak detection and HVAC are maintained and controlled by the centralized system.
THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of an FY23 solicitation for an Integrated Design and Construction project on Fort Greely, Alaska.
Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:
- Identification of the manufacturer’s names, address, and country of product manufacture.
- Fully detailed specification sheets.
- Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above.
