Eielson Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code proposed is 333120. The size standard for this NAICS is 1250 employees.
The reference number is FA500423broomhead and shall be used to reference any written response to this sources sought.
The requirement is for a 4600 Vertical Lift Airport Broom for MB3 Chassis.
Required specifications for the broom are as follows:
Sweeping width is 20’ minimum
Brush diameter is 46” minimum
Broom Speed is 477rpm broom with 2656-foot pounds of available torque at the broom shaft at 5075psi
Angel control is operator friendly
Cab portable operators control box
Microprocessor CAN bus controls with MDC (Monitor, Diagnose, Control) color screen display
Mounting is DIN Hitch
Optional integrated controls using CAN joystick
We are interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement.
Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of services offered to the Government and to commercial customers.
