This Sources Sought notice is being issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, and management capability of such offerors to perform this type of work. The capability statements will be used to determine material availability and appropriate procurement strategy, in particular, whether a set-aside or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. The Government does not intend to award a contract and will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice.
The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado-Basin, Yuma Area Office (YAO), has a requirement for ring net debris barrier fencing in approximately 6-foot-tall sections.
Salient characteristics:
1. Ring net debris barrier fencing
2. Approximately six-foot tall sections
3. ½- inch screw pin shackle with a minimum ultimate breaking strength of 24,000 lbf (or similar)
The anticipated North American Industry Classification System code is 331110, IRON AND STEEL MILLS AND FERROALLOY MANUFACTURING, with a small business size standard of 1,500 in number of employees. Product Service Code 5660, FENCING, FENCES, GATES AND COMPONENTS.
The contract is anticipated as a firm-fixed-price purchase order.

The capabilities package should include the following information:
1. Provide business name, Unique Entity ID, address, point of contact to include e-mail address, telephone number and website if applicable;

3. Demonstrate the firm's capability and experience by providing a response to the following market research questions:
What type of weave? How many rings are woven into each ring?
What is the ring diameter? (inches and mm)
What different wire diameters and tensile strengths? Provide the range.
What is the approximate unit weight? (lb/sq ft or kg/m)
What is the tensile strength? For example 3-ring tensile test.
Provide galvanization information.
What are the typical section lengths?
Is the wire metal cable supplied? What size is recommended?
Are the metal screw pin shackles supplied?
What is the lead time for delivery?
What is the place of manufacture?
Where is the raw material country of origin?
