The Alaska Air National Guard, located in Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to DURO HEALTH LLC at 575 NW Lamonde Terrace, Portland, Oregon, 97229-6188.
DURO HEALTH LLC will provide physical therapy, rehabilitation, and psychology services to the 212th Rescue Squadron (RQS) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). DURO HEALTH LLC is the incumbent contractor for this work. A protest has halted the award of the follow-on effort, and a sole-source 6-month contract, consisting of a 4-month base period, and 2 1-month options, will be awarded to DURO HEALTH LLC to bridge the expiring contract, W91ZRU-17-C-4500, and the follow-on effort.
Due to the expedited nature of this action, the Government does not contemplate any contractor other than DURO HEALTH LLC being able to fill this need and secure manpower for this effort in the time required. The services being acquired are mission-essential and work stoppage is unacceptable.
Should an interested small-business assert, with confidence, that they can provide these services, starting 01 December 2022, the Government will consider their assertions and award the contract to the vendor with the most likely ability to be able to perform these services starting on 01 December 2022.
