The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of standing timber on approximately 60 acres within one (1) block at Maine Army National Guard, Aroostook County, Maine. Approximately the following volumes to be harvested from within the designated block boundary:
Prime Beef Timber sale, timber is per unit – Contains within the harvest block approximately 70 Tons of designated Balsam Fir sawtimber, 32 cords of firewood, 1,262 tons of Aspen chipwood, 113 tons of hardwood pulpwood, 313 tons of softwood pulpwood, 489 tons Red Pine, 447 tons Tamarack, and 0 tons other chipwood – depending on how much chipping.

HARDWOOD PULPWOOD – 113 TON

OTHER CHIPWOOD – 900 TON
Any additional designated Sawtimber products to be sold per unit (ton) scaled at the receiving sawmill and paid based 40% of the delivered price paid at the mill.
Any additional designated Non-Sawtimber products to be sold per unit (Cord/Ton) scaled at the receiving sawmill.
Contract Period of Performance:
Item # one (1) Prime Beef Timber sale: All tree felling shall be complete by 31 May 2023, no tree felling shall occur from June 1 to October 31; tree skidding, processing, and hauling shall be complete 1 October 2023; and all site repair work as directed must be complete by 31 October 2023.
