Amendment 0001 provides Questions and Answers #1 through #2; explains and adjusts project completion date and sequencing with other projects (by others); and adds FAR Clause 52.211-18 Variation in Estimated Quantity with regard to off-site disposal of arsenic-contaminated soil. Amendment 0001 was prepared 17 Oct 2022 but inadvertently not published. Consequently, the solicitiation closing date is extended to 2:00 PM ET Monday 24 Oct 2022.

Site preparation, excavation, concrete foundation 38 feet x 62 feet, core holes of 4-inch diameter, connection to potable w ater line, connection to sanitary sew er, and disposal off site of arsenic soil.
Site preparation includes complete removal and disposal by contractor of concrete sidewalk pavers, concrete car stops and excess soil not needed as fill. Removal of single ADA compliant parking space sign and return to government. Demolished material, including excess soil, to be properly stored and then disposed of offsite as soon as practicable. Soil will require contractor to provide bill of lading with disposal of soil.
Construction to include all work necessary for the construction of a foot concrete foundation with overall external dimensions of 38 foot by 62 foot. Foundation work includes the construction of sleeves throught concrete slab and continous footing as indicated on drawing. Conduct slump tests and compressive strength tests on concrete and provide test reports. Provide connection to existing potable water line. Provide connection to sanitary sewer as indicated on drawing. Proper disposal off site of all excess arsenic soil not to be reused as fill and provide documentation.
Post-construction site cleanup to include removing temporary barricades, signage and other safety equipment. General cleaning up of the work and lay down area to return surrounding area to as close to pre-construction condition as practicable. Repair of any grass in surrounding area which was damaged in constructing or lay down to be re-sod.
