This Sources Sought / Market Survey Questionnaire is posted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for providing Brand Name or Equal wireless headset kit that is compatible with David Clark Headset Model H10-76 (NSN-5965-01-390-9240). The wireless kit must be able to communicate with other headsets without the use of a radio for ensured safety when operating around moving jets on the flight line. The wireless headset kit must be able to transmit when speaking into the microphone automatically allowing the user to be able to talk hands-free. A desired characteristic is for the headset to have select audibility settings based on anticipated noise exposure allowing for more hearing protection and clearer audio transmissions.

Additionally, this notice is to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. Depending on the response to this notice and other market research, 355 CONS may limit the competition to a specific category of small businesses at the exclusion of all other potential business concerns. If adequate responses are not received from the previously mentioned concerns, the acquisition may be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The government WILL NOT reimburse participants for any expenses associated with participation in this Sources Sought / Market Survey Questionnaire. This is NOT a solicitation.
