This requirement will be awarded base don LPTA. This requirement is to outfit the interior of a Mercedes Benz Sprinter Crew Van 3500, 170-inch wheelbase with high roof, all-wheel drive, and dual rear wheels for use as a bomb/crisis response vehicle. This vehicle will be used in austere environments (temperatures down to 70; off-road, etc.) shelving, and other build components must be able to withstand such, extremes without failure. Shelving/cabinetry must be able to safely carry heavy equipment (approximately 200lbs) and prevent loads from moving around the cargo area of the vehicle during operation on or off-road. Specified interior lighting must provide strong working light on the interior of the vehicle (minimum 6 x Whelen #80C0EHCR dome lights or similar; minimum 10 x strip lights for under and insides of cabinets). This vehicle will be required to carry a wide variety of equipment, such as bomb suits, X-ray generators/scanners, sensitive radiation/chemical/biological detection equipment, power/hand tools, laptops, and evidence collection tools, among other things. Vehicle flooring must be durable, resilient, and non-slip, as the vehicle will be utilized in muddy, wet, snowy, and icy conditions. Thermal insulation must be included and appropriate to the previously noted austere temperatures. Please see attachment for the bill of materials. All quotes must include, Destination FOB.
