Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME seeks to identify sources capable of providing preventative, corrective maintenance and Software upgrade services in accordance with attached Statement of Work and PM requirements. Due 11:59 ET on Thursday, August 25, 2022

The market research information collected resulting from this Sources Sought Notice will be used to help the Government to identify qualified sources capable of accomplishing the required work outlined in the Draft Performance Work Statement under NAICS Code 811310. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS Code is 7.5 Millions of dollars.
This Notice should NOT be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor to ultimately award a contract. Responders acknowledge that this Notice does NOT restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach, nor to otherwise reimburse Responders for any costs that may be incurred in preparation of response(s) to this Notice.
In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are NOT deemed offers, and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
Only those Responders that are able to meet the following criteria should respond to this Sources Sought Notice:
- Entity is capable of meeting ALL specifications outlined in the attached DRAFT document.
- Entity has an active CAGE Code, and current registration in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov).
- Entity does NOT appear on the Excluded Parties List
Responses should include the following information:
- Company Name and CAGE Code as reflected in its current SAM Registration, and Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- Point of Contact (POC) (name, telephone number, email address, street address)
- Business Size & Business Type
- Company’s Capabilities Statement, and related marketing materials
- Documentation showing previous experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on Walter Helitronic tool grinding machines.
Interested parties are requested to respond to this Sources Sought with a PDF Document Format. Responses shall be limited to ten (10) pages and submitted via email to the Contract Officer, Chuck Chase at charles.e.chase23.civ@navy.mil no later than 11:59 PM ET on Thursday, August 28, 2022. Proprietary information should be minimized and must be clearly marked.
Responses to this Sources Sought will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the GPE, sam.gov. It is the potential vendor’s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any follow-on information.
