Base Item work for this project consists of pre-blading a designated section of NFSR 203 Circle
Road in preparation of the furnishing, hauling, placing, and compaction of the mudrock base
course. Once the mudrock base course is placed as specified, then complete a final blading of the
work to provide a smooth-running surface.
Optional work for this project includes the construction of lead-off ditches and turn-outs (as
specified) at locations as staked by the Government. See Schedule of Items and the Drawings for
more specific descriptions on quantities and construction details.
