The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, hereby announces the solicitation for “National Register Testing, Evaluation, and Form Preparation at Big Bend, Fort Randall, and Gavins Point Project Lands, South Dakota and Nebraska”. The solicitation will close on 09 September 2022. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.
Project Description:
The contractor will perform archaeological testing and National Register Evaluation (Phase II Archaeological Investigation) of 27 archaeological sites totaling approximately 101 acres of land belonging to USACE Lake Project Offices, with options for an additional four sites and 44 acres, and produce draft National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) Nomination forms (NPS Form-10-900) for sites recommended eligible for listing to facilitate USACE’s management responsibilities under Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
The Period of Performance for this effort is 730 days after award.

Place of Performance:
All work will be conducted on lands currently owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at Big Bend and Fort Randall Project in South Dakota and Gavins Point Project in Nebraska. After award of the contract, the USACE will provide the contractor shapefiles that identify the site locations.
