This is a sources-sought notice / request for information (RFI) only. This is not a request for a quote or proposal. This RFI is issued solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary to create the resultant solicitation. This RFI is issued by the Bureau of Land Management, Montana/Dakotas State Office, for the purpose of performing market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of small businesses under NAICS Code 334512.
Background:
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is requires all project components installed shall be compatible with the Metasys 12 operating system. All existing panels, actuators, and VFD¿s will remain in place and operational during installation. Work is to be accomplished prior to installation of Metasys 12.0 upgrade scheduled for Fall of 2022.
I. Removal and Disposal of existing HVAC Components
The Missoula Field Office requires removal and disposal of the following HVAC components. All removed components shall be disposed of properly off-site by the contractor.
1. Two (2) - DX9100 Digital Plant Controller
II. Furnish and Install HVAC Components
The Missoula Field Office requires furnishment and installation of the following HVAC components. All equipment associated with this contract shall include a minimum 1-year warranty and be compatible with Metasys 12.0 operating system.
1. Two (2) - CGM Controller
i. Controllers shall communicate using the BACnet MS/TP, N2 or wireless communications protocols, with the addition of ZFR183x Pro Wireless Field Bus Routers.
2. Three (3) - XPM Expansion Modules
3. Two (2) - Uninterruptible Power System (UPS)
i. UPS to be compatible with existing system and provides temporary backup power to computers, networking devices, and other devices of similar load demand where power interruptions cause outages.
4. Four (4) - Power Supply
5. Five (5) ¿ Temperature Sensors

Potential sources are invited to submit a Capabilities Statement describing the requests stated above. All responses should be submitted via e-mail to jalvarez@blm.gov no later than (1:00pm) (MDT) on (9 Aug 2022).
