Army Contracting Command- Rock Island (ACC-RI) hereby issues Solicitation W52P1J-22-R-3033 for Production quantinty 15,000 pounds of Potassium Nitrate.
This solicitation will result in a single firm-fixed price contract that contains a 100% Option
Quantity, to be evaluated at time of award. This solicitation is issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This solicitation will be awarded to the responsive, responsible, lowest priced offeror.
This requirement is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under 325180 – Other Basic Inorganic Chemical
Manufacturing; size standard is 1,000 employees.
Potassium Nitrate is required to be in accordance with the following:
a. Attachment 0001 – MIL-DTL-156 B dated 18 April 1956
b. Attachment 0003 – Quality Requirements
c. Chemistry: Potassium Nitrate to Mil P 156 Class 1
d. 98% passing 60 mesh, 80% passing 140 mesh, 50% min 80% max passing 325 mesh
First Article Testing (FAT) is not required.
