Furnish all necessary materials, equipment, labor, supplies, and incidentals needed to perform the Mikes Creek/Blacktail Juniper Mastication project . The project area is northwest of Belfield, North Dakota. See attached vicinity and project maps.

Masticating at least 90% of juniper per unit, greater than 1 foot, retaining juniper on north slopes greater than 30% (leave islands/areas will be identified). Depending on the type of equipment used, up to 20% of the area may not be accessible by equipment, areas that cannot be accessed by mastication equipment need to be lop and scattered by hand. Material in the Mikes Creek and Blacktail drainages needs to be cut into pieces 2’ long to keep from plugging the culverts downstream. Juniper within 10’ of the stream channel will be left standing.
