Combined Synopsis/Solicitation
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format
in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued.
(ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through SAM.gov Contract Opportunities, a request for
quote (RFQ No. 140R3022Q0039) is being issued subsequent to this combined synopsis/solicitation.
(iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular number 22-04, dated 01/30/2022.
(iv) This requirement is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System
(NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 335311, Power, Distribution, and Specialty Transformer
Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 335311and size standard is 750
employees.
(v) Line item 0010 Transformer Regulator Valves (Fisher), 2 ½ inch, ED, see Statement of
Work, 6 ea.
Line item 0020- Transformer Regulator Valves (Fisher), 2 inch, ED, see Statement of Work,
2 ea.
The Salient Characteristics provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to
the RFQ.
(vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for Regulators valves replacement for the
Transformers Gallery at Hoover Dam.
(vii) Work shall begin on or about July 11, 2022. All work shall be completed by November 04, 2022.
Work shall be completed at Hoover Dam, Boulder City, NV.
